How to Get to Allargue

Approaching Allargue from the North, by Car
Take the A 939 from Tomintoul towards the Lecht. Follow the road for approx 8 miles passing the ski centre.  As you come down the hill you pass a layby and some statues. You go into a couple of bends and then a straight. On your right there are some industrial looking buildings and a cottage. Put your indicator on to turn left. The drive is opposite the cottage, over a cattle grid. Follow the drive round into the trees.

Approaching Allargue from the South, by Car
From Braemar, follow the A939 towards Tomintoul. Go over a humpy back bridge and follow the road over the hills. At a T junction turn left through Corgarff. You pass a white Castle on your left and as you head up the hill a house with a large sign saying Wilderness campus. Put your indicator on to turn right and opposite a cottage turn right over a cattle grid. The house is along the drive in the trees.
