… including an evening of C-themed fancy dress!
We’ve been having the most amazing red skies recently.
It’s hard to resist hopping in the car and driving up the hill to watch the clouds as they move and change colour.
Winter has truly arrived. We woke to about 6 inches of snow this morning. The fruit cage has survived two winters, but is close to collapsing under the weight of all this very heavy wet November snow.

There are lots of cranberries on the hill at this time of year. They take hours of picking, but are worth the effort. This week, I picked 1lb 2oz of cranberries, and made three pots of jam!
Early Summer. The bell heather is just out in the Birch wood, as well as lots of other beautiful wild flowers.
….what a difference a few days make!
